I think DeuceAce is now ready for another major update.

This update has been on my mind for a few months but after the suggestion from Lewis to make a portal the main page/entry for the site, I think it's time to move forward.

My plans for the next update is to turn DeuceAce into a full poker portal rather than focusing on the forum and having the other sections as add-ons.

I would like DeuceAce to be to go-to place for everything poker, the latest news, poker videos, poker tutorials, quality content, daily blog posts, quality reviews with major input from users especially and a few other things.


What I really need now, is feedback from you, the members.

I want to know what you want from the site, what do you want in a poker site and community?
What do you want to know about poker that DeuceAce can provide and what would make you want to come back for your daily fix?

I'm sure everyone that reads the forum knows that I really love hearing from members and visitors on what they like and what they want more of.

So...If you have any suggestions at all, let me know and don't be shy!

I would still prefer a forum to be running in the background, not because I'm a moderator. I just like to share my opinions with others and I would find that more difficult if it were just a portal.

The forum wont be changed at all :)

The portal is just an addition which will be the index page to make the site into a full poker site instead of the forum with add-ons.

Everything on the forum will still be the same and Im sure the foum is still going to be the main part of the site, the portal should only get more visitors and members :)

How about a bonus section with bonuses for the main rooms plus including a little information on each room that has a bonus offer and a link to their full review?

The first step of the update should be up tonight and complete tomorrow or Saturday.

I'm doing everything in steps because there is quite a lot to do and everything has to be tested to make sure they all work together as well as updating all scripts on the site, there's a lot of things to be broken ;)

I know what I would like, more free money on rooms :D

What i suggest is you could make a list of all the pokersites that are downloadable by your forum and let the members (regular members rate the pokerrooms) we could raten then on freerolls, colours, helpfull and so on. That way we could make a top 10 of all the pokerrooms which could be usefull to new members who play poker for the first time or didnt try that particular room yet.
