What are you playing, ring games, SNGs or MTTs? And buyins or freerolls? If you're playing freerolls, the bonuses mentioned don't matter since you won't be able to clear them anyway, and at low level buyins, they won't matter much since they'll take a good amount of play to clear - enough so that if you're not a winning player, they won't be enough to offset your losses.

Pokerstars is a good site and very suitable for beginners because it has low stakes cash games which start from as little as $0.01/$0.02. The play is not that great but it gives you a place to learn for a low cost.

If Tournaments are more what your after they have some $1 multi tables, which again for a low stake are a great place to learn the basics.

Yeah ..there are a lot of other sites that are better and where you can play maybe more succesfull. I would choose PokerStars because they have a really nice and easy software to understand and because you can find a lot of fishes in the lower limits.
