Just a few years ago a Mac poker player would have had a difficult time finding a popular online poker room that is Mac poker compatible. Fortunately, for us Mac users, times have changed and there are now a large assortment of Mac compatible poker rooms in which to choose from.

Although there are many, the most popular Mac poker rooms include Pacific Poker, Full Tilt Poker, PartyPoker, and PokerRoom.

Of the above rooms, my personal favorite is Pacific Poker. Pacific Poker is owned and operated by 888.com, the most popular online casino in the entire world. Their Mac poker software is a Java client and was one of the first of its kind. At the time of this writing, Pacific Poker has pulled their operations from the United States. So what is a USA poker player to do about this? Fortunately, there are a select few online poker rooms still accepting poker players.

The popularity of this room has boomed since the new gambling legislation passed, as well as since they released their Mac poker software. Mac poker players have been able to enjoy playing at PokerRoom for years, but like some of the other rooms, they have since pulled their business out of the United States. In fact, the entire OnGame network has pulled their operations from the USA. PokerRoom was one of the first Mac compatible poker rooms and they use a no download Java Mac poker software.

So as you can see, there are many more Mac poker rooms available to play at.
