The first step; Poker school
Learning how to play good poker isn't hard, it just takes a while!
We have created a poker school to make it easier to get started, and more importantly get started in the right way. The poker school is divided into four parts. The first part is the actual poker school. You will learn the basic rules in the first part of the school. You can learn both how to play Texas Holdem and 7 card stud. The poker school teaches both basic rules and strategy.
The second step; Practice
The second part in an education is of course training. To become a good poker player you will need a lot of practice. Our poker room reviews shows you excellent poker rooms to start playing, we recommend Partypoker, bet365 poker and for US players Full tilt poker and Pokerstars.
The third step; University level
To excel at poker we suggest that you read poker books. That will give you a new perspective and it will give you some time away from the computer. But to choose the right poker books is not easy. Therefore we created a reading holdem strategy .
The last step; Advanced Teachers
There are a lot of tools that could help you to become a better poker player . We see these tools as advanced teachers. The help we suggest are mostly for analyzing your game. Get a poker software program. This will help you to find your own weaknesses and build your strength as a player.
Extra educational credit
Do not get fooled by the name “poker beginner”. Some of the advice and strategies are advanced. Even if you have been playing for a while you can always learn more and why do not do it by attending school. For the more experienced poker player will probably find some extra valuable information in the pokertips section and also at the poker strategy .
